Britt Frisk Pados, Ph.D., RN, NNP-BC, is an assistant professor at the Connell School of Nursing. She is a certified neonatal nurse practitioner and her research focuses on feeding difficulty in infants and young children with medical complexity, particularly those born preterm and with congenital heart disease.
Dr. Pados has worked as a neonatal nurse practitioner in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital of New York Presbyterian at Columbia University Medical Center as well as a registered nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
Dr. Pados received her Ph.D. from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, where she also worked as a research associate/project manager and clinical assistant professor—teaching a course on developmental physiology and pathophysiology.
Dr. Pados is a member of the Alpha Chi and Alpha Alpha chapters of Sigma Theta Tau. She has numerous honors for her leadership, research, and scholarship from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, Southern Nursing Research Society, and Boston College.
