Julie P. Dunne, RN, PMHNP-BC, is a clinical instructor at the William F. Connell School of Nursing. She is a certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and practices in the Partial Hospitalization Program at the Cambridge Eating Disorder Center. Dunne is currently completing her Ph.D. in Nursing at Boston College and her dissertation focuses on examining the potential relationships between mindfulness and eating disorder symptoms and changes over time during treatment.
Dunne received her master’s degree from Boston College and bachelor’s degree in nursing from Nazareth College in Rochester, NY. Prior to attending Boston College, Dunne worked as a registered nurse at Walden Behavioral Care where she provided medical and psychiatric stabilization for patients 11 years of age and older with eating disorders, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety and other psychiatric conditions.
